Machine Tool Applications

MILLING
Aerotech controllers are used by major machine-tool builders for contoured milling applications to achieve high quality milling in flexible manufacturing processes such as running small batches of multiple parts on the same machine.

DRILLING
Drilling requires high-speed point-to-point moves that are easily provided by the Aerotech controllers.

EDM
As the demand for higher precision parts increases, so do the requirements of EDM. Aerotech has constantly met the requirements for contoured higher-precision part tolerances while increasing system throughput.

GRINDING
