This message means the A3200 SMC found more then one FireWire card in the computer. When this happens the SMC does not know which card to use. Therefore, the RTX supported card needs to be selected in the NReg utility. 

Perform these steps to select the RTX supported card:  

1. Open the NReg utility. 
2. Press the Update Card button. 
3. In the bottom selection box highlight the FireWire card that is configured for RTX.  
4. Press OK and exit the NReg utility.
5. With all A3200 applications closed, run the StopSMC utility from the start bar of the PC under the Automation 3200 heading.
6. Restart the NView HMI.
