Our goniometers and their unique design utilise our best-in-class direct-drive noncontact motor technology and represent a significant breakthrough in the high-accuracy angular alignment of optical components. Our ANT series goniometers provide 20 degrees of travel at an industry-leading positioning speed of 150 degrees per second, with up to 0.013 arc-second resolution.

Stacking the goniometers can provide pitch and roll about the same point in space. High-precision bearings, linear encoder feedback, and non contact and non cogging direct-drive technology assure the highest level of performance and make excellent repeatability and in-position stability a reality.

AGC motorized mechanical goniometers are used in applications where 90 degrees of angular travel is needed with the payload at the center of rotation, or where two axes of rotation are needed about a common point. AGC goniometers are designed to be mounted to standard optical tables, as well as standard Aerotech rotary stages, to provide roll, pitch, and yaw about a common 3-axis intersection.
