Our AOM family of optical gimbal mounts come in various sizes and capabilities to fit many different positioning requirements and are designed for highly accurate pointing, scanning and target tracking of large optics, antennae, telescopes, and cameras. Our optical gimbal mounts are also used to test and calibrate inertial sensors, gyros, and seeker heads. The AOM gimbals provide sub arc second resolution in either motorised or manual configuration.

The AOM130M series of gimbals and optical mounts position optical components as large as 600 mm (24 inches) in diameter in both azimuth and elevation. The AOM110 series optical mounts have a gimbal design for a relatively low cost. The narrow profile design of these optical mounts permits maximum clear aperture at 45°. The axes are decoupled and orthogonal; crosstalk and iterative adjustments are eliminated. Large-diameter knobs provide fine resolution and smooth translation.
