| Aerotech
announces the immediate availability from stock of the BLMFI and BLMFS
series flat linear motors. These motors have a low profile of 35 mm
(1.40 inches) and lengths from 81 to 386 mm (3.2 to 15.2 inches).
Continuous stall force ratings from 25.6 to 190 newtons (5.7 to 43
pounds) are available.
The design and construction of
these flat linear motors give a considerable cost savings over
"U-channel" linear motors. The BLMFI series has no magnetic
attraction, making it ideal for scanning and other "smooth
velocity" applications. The BLMFS series has steel laminations for
additional force within the same physical envelope. The BLMF motors
offer up to 30% more continuous force for the same length than other
manufacturers. Travel lengths are unlimited due to Aerotechs unique
"stackable" magnet track system with symmetrical mounting hole
pattern. The BLMF motors can be easily modified with various magnet and
winding options to meet your application requirements.
Aerotech also offers a
complementary line of brushless amplifiers and high-performance motion
controllers for a complete motion solution. Custom versions of these
motors are available. |
