AGS1000
systems are designed for applications including
high-speed
pick-and-place, automated assembly, vision
inspection,
dispensing stations, and high-accuracy
inspection.
The AGS1000 is based on the industry
leading
AGS10000 gantry, and maintains many of the
same
leading-edge characteristics.
AGS10000
Gantry
The
AGS10000 series of Cartesian gantry systems puts
Aerotech’s
core technologies and extensive
manufacturing
capability to work for you, providing
outstanding
performance and versatility in a wide range
of
automation platforms. Aerotech’s high-performance
BLM
series brushless linear servomotors drive the
AGS10000
to speeds of 3 m/s and accelerations of 3 g.
Both
single and dual forcer designs are available, and
feedback
is from a rugged noncontact optical linear
encoder.
Resolution options range from 20 nm to 1.0 µm.
AGS20000
Gantry
The
AGS20000 series was designed to be the most
powerful
and accurate Cartesian gantry in the world. Dual
high-power
linear motors were coupled with dual lower-
axis
optical linear encoders, resulting in a gantry that not
only
offers unparalleled speed and acceleration, but is
also
capable of extreme accuracy and repeatability.
Aerotech’s
high power BLMH series brushless linear
servomotors
propel the AGS20000 to speeds of 3 m/s and
accelerations
of 5 g.
