Design Features

  • Motion subsystem capable of pivoting about a user programmable point in space at extended offsets greater than one meter in length
  • Utilizes additional linear axes to increase the available travels of the hexapod kinematic positioning platform
  • High-accuracy components and mechanical alignments allow for micron-level positioning at extended working offsets
  • All kinematic transformations between the hexapod and linear axes are handled by Aerotech’s pre-configured motion controller
  • Load capacities greater than 100 kg
  • Example applications include six degree of freedom part manipulation, high load testing, and advanced metrology
