How to Identify Recruitment Fraud

It has been brought to our attention that there has been an increase in recruitment fraud involving scammers who post fraudulent jobs openings, or who contact jobseekers with fake job offers. This type of fraud is normally carried out through online services using fake URLS (websites), or from fake e-mails, SMS texts or social media accounts. Often, company employee names and logos are used to try to convey legitimacy.

Aerotech, Inc. and its affiliates (“Aerotech”) follow an employee recruitment practice with extensive screening steps and never charges or accepts any amount or security deposit from job seekers during this recruitment process as a pre-employment requirement. In addition, Aerotech will never request bank account information, social security numbers, or other non-publicly available information during the application and interview process.

In case you receive any unsolicited or fraudulent communication regarding a job offer or an interview call asking for personal information or payment of money, please stay alert and recognize the likelihood that it is a scam.
