Aerotech, Inc. (hereinafter “Aerotech”) provides this privacy policy (hereinafter “Privacy Policy”) to describe how we may collect, use and protect personally identifying information that you provide us through your interactions with the websites operated by Aerotech, Inc. (collectively, the “Aerotech Website”).

We respect your privacy and have safeguards in place to protect it. If we ask you to provide personal information when using the Aerotech Website, we will only use it as provided in this policy and the related Cookie Policy. Your access and use of the Aerotech Website and contents is subject to this Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, as well as our Terms of Use. By accessing and using the Aerotech Website, you accept and agree to this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use without any limitation or qualification.

What Personal Information We Collect

Purpose

We collect information to understand your needs, provide better service, and enhance our marketing efforts including, without limitation, as follows:

We do not sell personal information to anyone.

We do not obtain or process credit card payments or retain any financial information.

Data Retention & Transfer

We will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law. At any time, you may request a copy of the information we are storing which relates to you.

We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your personal data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

Your information, including personal data, may be transferred to or maintained on computers or servers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. Security

We use reasonable physical, electronic and administrative measures to safeguard your personal information under our control, including data encryption and anonymization where appropriate. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or data storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If we learn of any breach or unauthorized access that may impact your personal information under our control, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities, as required by applicable law. Third-Party Vendors & Services

We use third-party vendors and services who help us provide our services and the Aerotech Website, such as website hosting, document storage, IT services, email delivery services, email marketing, auditing services, website analytics and other services. Information you provide may be shared by us with any of such third-party vendors for the limited purpose of performing these tasks on our behalf to provide our services or operate the Aerotech Website. Each vendor is vetted and bound by contractual obligations that are at least as stringent as this Privacy Policy.

We ask that you not send us or disclose any sensitive personal information (e.g., information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, criminal background or trade union membership) on or through the Aerotech Website or otherwise.

Certain Rights Under the EU GDPR and UK GDPR

  • Right to restrict processing: At your request, we will restrict processing of your personal information, though we will decline this request if we must continue the processing of your personal information to comply with legal requirements.
  • Right to data portability: At your request, we will provide you with your personal information in a structured, commonly used format, free of charge.
  • Right to object: You have the right to object to our processing of your personal information if you feel it impacts on your fundamental rights and freedoms. We will comply with your request unless we have legitimate grounds for the processing, or where the processing is in connection with the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
  • Right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing: You will not be subject to decisions with a legal or similarly significant effect (including profiling) that are based solely on the automated processing of your personal information, unless you have given us your explicit consent or where they are necessary for the performance of a contract.
  • Right to withdraw consent: You have the right to withdraw any consent you may have previously given us at any time.

California Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of California, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information according to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (the “CCPA”), including:

  • Know: The right to know what categories of and specific pieces of personal information are collected, used, shared or sold in the last 12 months.
  • Delete: The right to delete personal information held by us and our service providers, though we may retain personal information if it is needed to: (1) complete a transaction, provide a service or otherwise perform a contract for you, (2) detect or resolve issues relating to security or functionality of the Aerotech Website; (3) complying with legal obligations; (4) engage in research in the public interest; (5) exercise free speech or ensure another's exercise of free speech; or (6) use the personal information internally in a lawful manner that is consistent with the context in which you provided it.
  • Opt out: The right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information.
  • Non-discrimination: The right to not be discriminated against in price or service for exercising your privacy rights.
  • Financial incentive: We are permitted under the CCPA to offer financial incentives for the collection, sale or deletion of personal information and to offer a different price, rate, level or quality of services if that price or different is directly related to the value provided to you by your data. Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online activities monitored and collected. We do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.

Children Under the Age of 13

Our products, services and the Aerotech Website are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from, children under the age of 13. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under the age of 13, please contact us at dataprivacy@aerotech.com.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may modify or update this Privacy Policy. To see when this Privacy Policy was last updated, see the effective date at the beginning of the Privacy Policy. Any changes will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy on the Aerotech Website. Your use of the Aerotech Website following these changes means that you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
