Removing Stitching Error From Laser Direct Writing
In laser direct writing, motion error shows up in the finished device. A photonics component manufacturer raising output needed sub-micron dynamic tracking through the write, laser and motion coordinated tightly enough to keep features consistent, a larger working area and no stitching errors where fields meet.
Cross-axis calibration corrects off-axis error motions while the stage is moving. Position Synchronized Output fires the laser on position, which holds spatial energy distribution constant and raises resolution and accuracy. Large-travel PlanarHD air-bearing stages increase the parts processed per run. Automation1 runs the AGV3D scan head and the motion axes from one controller, and Infinite Field of View stitches the scan field to stage travel so the seam disappears.
