The AGV-CPO delivers the CORE performance capabilities of all our 2-axis scanners, including 100 kHz trajectories with 200 kHz servo rates, seamless integration with servo axes with Infinite Field of View (IFOV), and precise laser triggering based on position feedback with Position Synchronized Output (PSO). Combining these innovative features with value enables the AGV-CPO to deliver more performance to a broad range of laser applications.
Perfectly Balanced Precision, Dynamics & Value
Our AGV-CPO scan heads are engineered from the ground up to deliver high speeds and accelerations while simultaneously providing outstanding part-path accuracy – much like their higher-performance counterparts, the AGV-HPO and AGV-XPO. With 22-bit effective scanner resolution, <100 µrad accuracy and <0.6 µrad RMS repeatability, the AGV-CPO exceeds industry standards for precision. Integrated motor water cooling and optional air-cooled mirrors help ensure ultra-low thermal drift. The motors’ dynamics are optimized for the most demanding laser processing applications with peak accelerations up to 225,000 m/s2 and speeds up to 75 m/s with zero tracking error.
Upgrade Your Process at Any Time
All AGV 2-axis laser scan heads are controlled by the Automation1 PC-based controller and Automation1 GL4 2-axis laser scan head drive. This means you can perform research and develop your process with the AGV-CPO, then upgrade to the extreme dynamic performance of the AGV-XPO scanner without needing any additional control hardware from Aerotech. This common mechanical and electrical integration ensures your process development can scale to high-volume production at any time with zero downtime or additional development costs.
Advanced Programming Features
The AGV-CPO uses our Automation1 PC-based controller to coordinate its motion with additional servo axes via IFOV and Mark on the Fly (MOTF). It operates natively on RS-274 compliant G-Code, enabling nearly any CAM software to generate trajectories for it – so it can be molded to work with your process development software stack. Additional scanners can be controlled with advanced C-transformations to create complex multi-axis trajectories for all axes connected to the controller.
